On the occasion of Rose Day, IIBM Patna and CED organized a heartwarming event filled with love, joy, and creativity, aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of children suffering from Cancer. The day was filled with engaging activities designed to lift the spirits of young souls, creating a beautiful atmosphere of happiness and connection.

Our event aimed to offer these brave children an opportunity to express themselves, have fun, and forget about their hardships, even if just for a little while. The event began with energetic drawing session, where the children were given crayons and sheets to bring their imagination to life. Each drawing was a reflection of their innocence and hope, a window into their vibrant world.

Following the drawing session, the children were enchanted by a storytelling session. The engaging and inspiring stories held the children’s attention, filling the room with awe and excitement. The stories weren’t just tales; they were full of positivity and hope, leaving a lasting impact on the children’s hearts.

The day continued with an interactive dance session, where the children moved to the rhythm with smiles and laughter. Their boundless energy and enthusiasm filled the room, and it was a beautiful sight to see them so carefree, dancing and enjoying every moment.

Throughout the event, Prof. Kaushambi Kaushal, CED interns and volunteers made sure to interact with the children, speaking with them, playing, and offering their unwavering support. The bond that formed between them was truly special, filled with warmth and compassion.

To cap off the event, healthy snacks were distributed to the children and their caretakers, providing a nourishing end to the day. The children’s delight in receiving these refreshments was clear, and it was wonderful to see their smiles grow even bigger as they enjoyed the snacks.

This heartwarming event was made possible through the efforts of CED interns and volunteers under the guidance of Dr. Prof. Rohit Singh (Group Director) and Prof. Kaushambi Kaushal, head of CSR initiatives. The dedication and care shown by the team ensured that the event ran smoothly and left a lasting impact on everyone involved. Special thanks to Yash, Ansh, Atul Raj, Atul Kumar, Maaz, Sparsh, Anandita, and Md Anas, whose hard work and commitment brought this event to life.
