A seminar on “Drug-Free Bihar Campaign” was organized at IIBM, with the objective of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction. The speakers discussed the social, physical, and mental consequences of substance abuse.
BJP National Media Co-incharge and MLC Sanjay Mayukh said that drug addiction is one of the biggest enemies of society and is pushing the future of many generations into darkness. He said that awareness is the first step in the fight against addiction and that society must work together to protect young people from it.
He further highlighted that drug addiction not only affects a person’s financial condition but also disturbs their mental well-being and family life. He appealed to students to stay away from drugs and encourage others to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The programme was presided over by the institute’s Director Rohit Kumar Singh. Other attendees mentioned in the report included Manoj Kumar Singh, Aman Rathore, Shashank Bhardwaj, Manish Singh, Rajnish Ranjan, Sumit Srivastava, Kislay, and Shailesh Mandal, among others.
