Patna: To promote technical education, innovation, and industry-oriented learning in Bihar, the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Patna and IIBM Patna have jointly undertaken three major initiatives.

The IETE Patna Centre at Shri Ram Plaza and the IETE-IIBM Cyber Security Excellence Centre at Boring Road were inaugurated, along with the launch of the IETE Students Forum (ISF).

As part of the initiative, Prof. M.P. Singh (IETE Patna) has been appointed as the Chairman and Dr. Rohit Singh (Director, IIBM) as the Honorary Secretary for the 2026–2028 term.

The partnership aims to equip students with cybersecurity expertise, technical knowledge, and industry-oriented skills, while creating greater opportunities for innovation and professional development.
